Welcome to the new Lizzie's Notions!
Well hello, and welcome to the new and improved Lizzie’s Notions! Setting this new website up has been a long time coming, and I'm so happy to finally be launching it! A lot of late nights went into this and I hope it paid off. What really gave me that final push though is the newest addition to the shop and I can't wait for you to see it. I worked personally for months on this design, fine tuning it up until very recently and I can’t tell you how happy I am with the finished product and how nice the quality is. I can’t wait for you to have one of your very own (feel free to tag your pictures on Instagram so I can see them). It's very much a passion project of mine, but more on that in the next blog post when it's released.
Things that are different:
- Custom orders
I'm still trying to work out how exactly to set up custom ordering on here, but I'm definitely still offering custom orders. I've done quite a few over the years and I've really enjoyed working with people and trying to make it the best that I can. For now, I’ll have a custom order listing available where you can just leave a note explaining what you would like me to make, include a photo reference if you have one available, and I’ll let you know if it’s in my wheelhouse. If it turns out it's something I feel confident in my ability to make it (I have been asked to make something that's completely out of my wheelhouse before but I'll try my best), then I'll create a custom listing with your name attached to the listing. If you’d like to get a better idea of what I might be able to make for you, feel free to browse the catalog of previous custom pieces I’ve done.

I've been working on a small handful of designs for various mugs and I can't wait for you to see what they look like! - *Drum roll*...Apparel!!
After literal years of working on one design in particular, as well as a few others, I am thrilled to announce that there will be apparel for the first time in the shop! I'm so excited for y'all to see the main design that has become my passion project, as well as others that will be released over the next few months. - New variations to some jewelry listings
I've been working for a long time trying to figure out how to make a specific variation to a metal stamp piece that I have available and I've finally just recently had a breakthrough and figured it out.
Other than that, I'll finally be adding a drummer option to the Artist-Musician necklace listing.
I have a newer, more dainty looking option for the metal stamp bangle bracelet.
Aaaaand I finally have a new font available for said metal stamping and it looks so crisp. All total, I now have four fonts, and this newest one is available in upper and lowercase. I'm still working on a nice, high quality example piece so you can see everything side by side when picking what font you want, but I'm quite pleased with this new one so far. - Jewelry making supplies
I've collected a lot of various trinkets over the years and have enough extra at this point that I decided to just try selling some supplies that someone else might enjoy making something out of. Who knows? It might even be a stepping stone into starting your own jewelry making business. - Our first sale on the new website!
Starting this week for will be our fall kickoff sale. So this Thursday (the 22nd) through the 28th, you can get 20% off any purchase. Maybe start with something from the Artist Collection or maybe encourage someone with the "I am not alone" metal stamp bracelet, hmm? - Blog posts about the various pieces in the shop!
From jewelry designs to graphic designs for apparel, there’s quite a lot in the shop now (and I’m just getting started). And I wanted to be able to share the story behind some of these designs as I go, and why they mean so much to me. So be looking for special blog posts all about the Artist design, the “I am not alone” design, and several others. - Gift cards!!
For the first time ever, we now have gift cards specific to this shop available! So, if you want to get a gift for someone, but you can't quite narrow down what you think they might like best, get them a gift card. Amounts range from $15-$100 (if you're feeling generous or just really want to bless someone). So far, there are no custom amounts in between that are available but I am open to suggestions for tweaking the amounts available as I go depending on what y'all would like to see.
And that about wraps it up - a whole lot of new, exciting things for this next chapter of my shop and plenty more still to come. I'm so excited to get started with it, as well as see all the lovely pictures to be tagged on Instagram.
